Nursery lunch club

Nursery children may attend our lunch club, which extends the morning or afternoon nursery session by ½ hour (no cost is involved). The lunch club is run by additional staff and you can send a packed lunch or small snack and drink in with your child.


Morning children who are staying for lunch club, should be collected at 12.00 mid-day. Afternoon children who are staying for lunch club should be brought in at 12.10pm. 
 
Therefore the session times for children staying to lunch club will be;
Morning session             9.00am-12.00 mid-day
Afternoon session         12.10pm- 3.10pm

Wrap around care

We run a Breakfast Club for all children who attend Highbury Infant School and Nursery or Whitehill Junior School. There is a range of activities prepared for the children and a choice of food offered for their breakfast. The club runs from 7.45am to 9.00am, Monday to Friday, during term time at Highbury School. 


The cost for breakfast club is £5 per day, including breakfast, activities, a supervised walk to school for Whitehill pupils or a supervised handover to teachers for Highbury pupils. If you are interested in a place for your child, please contact the school.


Hitchin Fun Club run an after school club for Highbury children (Reception to Year 2) and a holiday club at Highbury for Highbury and Whitehill children from Reception to Year 6. The after school club runs from the end of the school day up until 6.00pm and through the holidays from 7.45am - 6.00pm.

Please note that both Breakfast Club and Fun Club may have a waiting list. You should ring to enquire about the current situation when a school place at Highbury or Whitehill has been confirmed for your child.
