Nursery

Children who have a 30 hour nursery place access staying for lunch. The lunch session is run by additional staff.  Please send your child in with a packed lunch or small snack and drink.

Wrap around care

Breakfast club- We run a breakfast Club for all children who attend Highbury Infant School and Nursery or Whitehill Junior School. There is a range of activities prepared for the children and a choice of food offered for their breakfast. The club runs from 7.45am to 9.00am, Monday to Friday, during term time at Highbury School. 

The cost for breakfast club is £6 per day, including breakfast, activities, a supervised walk to school for Whitehill pupils or a supervised handover to teachers for Highbury pupils. If you are interested in a place for your child, please contact the school. 

After school and holiday provision- Hitchin Fun Club is run independently of the school and offers an after school club for Highbury children (Reception to Year 2) and a holiday club at Highbury for children  from any school, from Reception to Year 6. The after school club runs from the end of the school day up until 6.00pm and through the holidays from 8.30am - 5.30pm.

Please note that both Breakfast Club and Fun Club may have a waiting list. You should ring to enquire about the current situation when a school place at Highbury or Whitehill has been confirmed for your child.
