Covid 19 Information and other Respiratory Infections

In line with the government approach to Living with COVID, we continue to recognise the importance of infection prevention control measures that can reduce the risk of transmission of a range of illness and diseases. These include regular handwashing, ventilating rooms and additional cleaning routines.

Anyone  who is unwell with symptoms of respiratory infections should not attend school.

Anyone who tests positive for Covid should remain away from others for 5 days (adults) or 3 days (for children).

Highbury school during lockdown

Please see below a song and accompanying video which was written during the Covid lockdown period, by Danny Chance, our retired school caretaker.

My name is Mr Chance.

I am the retired as caretaker of Highbury Infant and Nursery School and was part of some of the school lockdown periods due to the COVID pandemic.

During the lockdowns, our school has worked to help keep the school open for children of front line Key workers, giving them the opportunity to support the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

This video was made to highlight the things that have been going on at our school and show how we are looking to the future.

The song, I can deliver, is written by me and helps to tell this story.

I hope you enjoy this video.
